It's finally here, a Tigers Fight Hunger refrigerator in our Tiger Pantry!

Thank you to all of our donors who have given to our cause and for supporting our efforts in preventing food insecurity on our campus. We could not have done this without YOU!

“Hello, I’m Terra Douglas, TFH Student Taskforce’s VP.  Thank you to all who have donated to our MomentUM project for refrigeration in the Tiger Pantry! The Tiger Pantry currently contains non-perishable foods but with refrigeration the Pantry will provide students with fresh food choices that are difficult for them to access!  

I want to encourage you all to continue donating and sharing our link with friends and family. We are over half-way to our goal of $2,500 but we still have a week left to finish strong!

We couldn't do what we do without your support for the Tiger Pantry and the UofM students. Every contribution goes towards the goal to support students to thrive during their time at the University of Memphis!

In the last 12 months, 69% of current UofM students have faced food insecurity. Since the Tiger Pantry opened in August 2017, it has been visited 750 times. In the 2018-2019 academic year alone, we have served over 150 individual students. By adding refrigeration to the Tiger Pantry, we hope to continuously grow as a resource.
