Here at the University of Memphis, we currently have more than 600 pre-health students – many of whom will go on to professional or post-graduate school to fulfill their goals of working in service of others. Our pre-health students (who aspire to careers in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, optometry, physical therapy, and more) can expect to spend between $160-415 per exam -- and that doesn't include any study materials, practice exams, or question banks!
We all know that getting into master’s and doctorate level health professions program is hard. The TN Delta chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta aims to make the process a little easier for University of Memphis pre-health students by creating the first ever Pre-Health Student Support Fund. This fund will allow AED to create both a lending library with test preparation materials and a small scholarship program that together will help break down the financial barriers that often prevent students from achieving their full potential.
Thank you for your support of our pre-health students!
With gratitude,
The 2017-18 AED Executive Board
