Support Urban Planning Students at the University of Memphis!
The Planning Student Organization (PSO) seeks to engage students at the University of Memphis interested in urban planning through the professional development of student members, and by organizing events and activities around Memphis which allow students to engage with the city's civic, cultural, and natural spaces.
The group is lead by students in the Master of City and Regional Planning program, but welcomes students interested in planning from all academic levels. U of M's Master of City and Regional Planning program was ranked as one of the top planning programs in a large city by Planetizen (a planning trade organization) in their latest edition of The Guide to Urban Planning Programs and boasts student enrollment from diverse areas both nationally and internationally!
In the past, student members have attended the TAPA (Tennessee Chapter of the American Planning Association) conference, MAGIC (Memphis Area Geographic Information Council) conference, as well as attended tours of important cultural and civic spaces in the city, such as the Memphis Riverfront Parks, the Cossitt Library in downtown Memphis, and the Memphis Botanical Garden. Your donation will help us continue to fund the professional development of planning students and host local engagement opportunities in the city!
