Coach Morgan Phillips took over the Tiger rifle program in 2022 after serving as interim head coach last season, spending 2020-21 as a graduate assistant coach for the program. A former standout herself, Coach Phillips established herself as one of the finest shooters in West Virginia University history winning two NCAA titles in smallbore in 2017 and 2018 and earning eight All-American honors in her distinguished career. Her success has continued at Memphis as she has helped two shooters qualify for the NCAA Championships while navigating a schedule with every opponent being ranked in the top-20.
