Our Crowdfunding Groups
Coach Sean Burdette took over for a Tiger Volleyball program in 2018 that won only 10 total matches the previous year. Two seasons later, Burdette has the Tigers going in the right direction. Memphis finished 2019 with 17 total wins. The 17 wins were the program’s most since 2015. Coach Burdette coached an All-American Athletic Conference honoree for a second-consecutive year in 2018. He also worked with a 1,000-assists setter for the second year in a row, the first time Memphis had a setter with 1,000 assists in back-to-back years since 2013 and 2014. The Tigers also have performed well in the classroom earning an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award in 2018.
