Moving Our Schools Into the Digital Age

The University Schools aim to provide the children of our community with educational experience that enhance their development from birth to graduation and promote dynamic research, collaborative partnerships and innovative practices.

The University Schools ecosystem is home to the following laboratory schools: the Barbara K. Lipman Early Learning & Research Center, Campus Elementary School and University Middle School. The University Schools currently educate over 700 students from across 15 Memphis zip codes with the goal to double that population in the next three years.

This year we are attempting to raise $10,000 to help bridge the gap between technology inequity for our students and teachers. If our goal is met, all the funding will be used to buy technology to allow for 1:1 devices for our students, buy hotspots to allow teachers to take their classroom beyond their building, and help secure the resources needed to help our students and faculty adapt to online learning and lower barriers to success.

If our generous donors help us to exceed our goal, we will be able to purchase additional technology items and software for our classrooms.
