UofM Tigers or TSU Tigers, we all support each other. When we see our fellow students experiencing a challenging time, we help. Tennessee State University officials say a preliminary estimate of damages caused by a tornado that touched down near the main campus is more than $20 million. Several buildings and apartments on the campus sustained some damage, such as ripped off siding and rooftops. Some vehicles were also damaged. Livestock on their agricultural farm have also been affected.
UofM is calling on Tiger friends and family, near and far, to come together to support the Tennessee State University in their efforts to repair their campus and accommodate their students recovering from the recent tornado destruction. As a university Driven by Doing, the UofM stands with TSU during this difficult time.
Starting again can be challenging. That’s why we’ve created a fund which will specifically support the TSU students and campus. In an effort to show support and solidarity, UofM will provide all donations collected from this campaign to TSU. TSU will provide the necessary relief to their students. Let’s share our support with our fellow Tigers. All donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by the law.
