The University of Memphis's NSSLHA chapter has been running the MidSouth Conference on Communicative Disorders since 1970. The students are responsible for organizing, developing and running the conference annually. It is an excellent opportunity for them to develop their leadership and organizational skills. It also provides a diverse high quality range of CEU offerings for professionals in the region. Help us keep going through the next 50 years!
50 years of Mid-South!
Hello 1990s! Yours was the decade that brought digital technology into our lives. Do you remember the computer room in the old Speech and Hearing Center building? In your decade, digital cameras, DVDs, CDs, MP3s, and pagers were pretty popular. And cell phones! Where would we be if your decade hadn't test-run those pocket click-bait devices.
We need your help to keep operating one of the oldest and longest running student-led conferences in the country, the Mid-South Conference on Communicative Disorders.
Since 1970, 10,000+ clinicians from around the region and the nation have traveled to Memphis to earn CEU's and stay up-to-date on research and practice innovations in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Furthermore, thousands of CSD students at the University of Memphis have benefited from the leadership experiences and connections they have gained through running the conference.
Your donation will empower the Memphis NSSLHA (National Student Speech Language and Hearing) chapter to keep hosting this wonderful event. Let's make sure the conference runs another 50 years!
We know everyone loves their coffee break. Your donation is just enough for half a pot of coffee for attendees at the conference. Keep the java flowing!
**RECOMMENDED LEVEL** Show students your appreciation by empowering their continued growth and professional development. Your donation gives students outside the UofM access to the conference and provides students at the UofM access to professionals from across the country.
The speaker at the keynote Luncheon is one of the conference highlights. Your donation helps us to bring in high quality speakers from across the country.
Students and graduates from the UofM, School of Communication Sciences & Disorders are the reason we maintain a strong reputation at the local, state, and national levels. Your donation helps build the national reputation of the Memphis CSD program.
Are you a Mid-South Superstar? Show the students support at this level, and you will have the unwavering appreciation of generations to come. Plus, your name will be listed on the CSD wall of fame.
